MoneyGram adds new vice president of global security, investigations

US-based global money transfer company MoneyGram International has appointed Peter Caddigan as vice president for global security and investigations.

Caddigan possesses about 25 years of experience in federal law enforcement, and served in various investigative roles.

Caddigan was most recently with the Transportation Security Administration, where he served first as the special agent in charge (SAIC) of the Inspections Division and later as the SAIC of the Special Investigations Unit, both in the Office of Inspection at TSA's Headquarters.

He has also been a special agent at the Food and Drug Administration, and worked for more than 10 years as a special agent conducting criminal investigations in the US Secret Service.

Through a global network of more than 256,000 agent locations including retailers, international post offices and financial institutions, MoneyGram serves consumers who do not have access to traditional financial institutions to meet their financial needs.
