Zelle experience now live in First Tech Federal Credit Union's mobile banking app

First Tech Federal Credit Union has launched the Zelle experience in its mobile banking app.

As part of the digital banking experience, with no additional app to download, Zelle enables person-to-person (P2P) payments for more than 110,000 First Tech mobile banking members.

A NEW WAY TO PAY – RIGHT FROM YOUR FIRST TECH APP

Changing the way money moves, Zelle allows for funds to be sent from one bank account to another typically in minutes, when both parties are enrolled,1 using only a recipient’s email address or mobile number. “Send Money with Zelle” is conveniently available within the mobile banking apps of Zelle Network® participants which include banks and credit unions of all sizes. Zelle makes digital payments a fast, safe and easy alternative to checks and cash.

First Tech Federal Credit Union has been a pioneer of digital banking experiences for their members and the credit union industry.

Back in 1989, First Tech was one of the first banks and credit unions to offer online banking to its members, followed by a mobile banking solution in 2000. In 2013, they were one of the first credit unions to offer a native mobile app for all three smartphone platforms – iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
